Are you interested in a career as a Developmental Service Worker (DSW), but lack the qualifications?
The DSW Apprenticeship Program provides on-the-job training of employees who wish to pursue their education toward their DSW diploma. This "earn while you learn" program allows employees to maintain their current job status while working toward a Certificate of Apprenticeship.
Apprenticeship programs receive a subsidy from the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities (MTCU), making this a very affordable means for employees to continue their education. Upon completion of the Certificate of Apprenticeship, the employee receives a $2,000 grant from MTCU.
Community Living Toronto is an employer sponsor of the DSW Apprenticeship Program. To be eligible to apply for the program at Community Living Toronto, you need to meet the following qualifications.
